V-Shift canвЂ™t be activated during a downward input if it can be activated from the crouching guard. V-Shift will be allowed to be used during forward and backward movement to improve its use in battle. V-Shift was more difficult to use than intended because of incompatibility with the specifications mentioned above. V-Shift and block couldnвЂ™t be activated even if seemingly input correctly due to this. The specific timing only allowed for the use of block in certain cases. The decision to limit V-Shift to neutral commands was made due to initial concerns that it would impact regular tactics when used in conjunction with blocking and retreating. Changes to V-Shift Commands can also be activated after forward/backward. The easier a move can be incorporated into a combo, the larger the combo count limit. The combo count limit is a numerical value used to determine if a move can land in an air combo. The easier it is to enter an air combo, the smaller the combo count gain. When an air combo starts from a particular move, the combo count start value is used.
